Here is a list of the spiritual teachers and projects that resonate deeply with me. In numerous instances, they have transformed my life in meaningful ways. I share them with you as potential resources to assist you in your own journey.
The Work of Byron Katie is a simple yet powerful process of inquiry that teaches us to identify and question the thoughts that cause us pain and suffering. It’s a way to address the real cause of our distress directly. In its most basic form, The Work consists of four questions and turnarounds. Paul Lowe inspires people from all walks of life to step beyond what they think is possible or impossible. His website offers a wide range of free articles, audio and video recordings that address everyday issues like sexuality, relationships, parenting, communication, religion, health, finance, career, and happiness. Paul encourages us to detach from our conditioning and be curious about our true potential.
Rosie Stave is a Certified Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie. She has introduced individuals and groups in this wonderful and liberating process since 1996. The freedom it has created in Rosie’s life, and the lives of others, fuels her continued passion for this gift. Rosie travels extensively within Australia to hold workshops and give sessions and hold workshops.
Ram Dass (1931-2019) has pursued a panoramic array of spiritual methods and practices of ancient wisdom traditions. His practice of karma yoga has supported millions on their spiritual path, including me. His unique skill in getting people to feel divine love without dogma. He is still a positive influence on many people from all over the planet.
A Satori is a moment of profound realisation, a knowing of life as it is. It is an experience of tremendous self-empowerment. The Satori workshop involves working in pairs with each member of the group, answering fundamental life questions: Who am I? What is another? What is life? What is love? Kira Kay is holding a 6 Day Satori Workshop every December in Byron Bay Australia. She also offers one-on one life-reading sessions.
The Zen tradition describes a Satori as “seeing into one’s true nature”. Satori is a moment of profound recognition, a direct experience of what IS. During a Satori workshop, participants answer fundamental life questions: Who am I? What is life? What is another? The answers lie beyond any concept the mind can come up with. Satori moments are never forgotten. Rafael holds Satori workshops in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
Silke is a sex and relationship therapist working with couples and individuals. Her aim is to improve communication and understanding between partners in and outside the bedroom. Her down-to-earth approach focusses on hope, growth and healing- gently guiding both individuals to a happier relationship. Sessions, workshops and educational trainings take place face-to-face at her practice in Berlin, Germany as well as online.
Psychologist Marshall Rosenberg founded the theory and practice of nonviolent communication. NVC teaches us to identify the underlying needs in all of our behaviours and choices, and those of others. Through the practice of NVC, we no longer need to use the language of blame, judgment or domination. We can experience the deep pleasure of contributing to each others' wellbeing. NVC creates a path for healing and reconciliation.
Dinesh has over 40 years of being immersed in the study of human consciousness. He is an exceptional facilitator with depth, integrity and a natural ability to tune into the essences of what is needed. His work includes family constellation (Bert Hellinger), psychotherapy, tantra, meditation, bioenergetics, gestalt therapy and Sufism. Dinesh works primarily in Germany and some other European countries.

She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Her books are bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead.
Anthony DeMello (1931-1987) was born in Bombay, India. He is widely known for his groundbreaking work that integrated western and eastern spirituality. He is regarded as one of the 20th century’s foremost spiritual philosophers. DeMello presents a method of self-inquiry he described as practical spirituality. It offers a simple practice of awareness that can lead to deep personal transformation.
TED is a non-profit organisation devoted to spreading powerful, educational and innovative ideas, usually in the form of short talks (18 minutes or less) all made freely available on YouTube. TED covers almost all topics — from science, psychology and art, to health, education and other global issues, and offer meaningful insight into life and empowering ways to live it.
Headspace has one mission: to improve the health and happiness of the world. It offers online techniques and tools so more people can experience the benefits of meditation anytime, anywhere. They offer guided meditations, animations, articles and videos, all in a distinct Headspace style - positive and encouraging.
